I'm looking into picking up a Breville Bambino Plus as my first espresso machine. Would also pick up a nice grinder.

Thoughts?

The Bambino Plus is now $100 cheaper than it was when I first asked this..... MIGHT PULL THE TRIGGER

I've never made an espresso shot in my life! I also read the reviews and differences in-depth and like what the bambino plus offers. the auto milk frothing plus the 3-way solenoid is nice

If you know how to pull an espresso shot, you shouldn’t even need to Plus. The stock bambino will do just fine. Only difference (iirc) is that the plus has an auto-volumetric feature.

This is a great machine, i think you'll be pretty happy.

I know nothing of their espresso machine, yet we had a breville toaster that saw heavy use and lasted 15 years, great investment.

No idea how their manufacturing quality has held up though.
