Be wary of yang activities that masquerade as yin Are you actually resting, or are you doing vinyasa yoga, hopping in a sauna, eating a cheat meal, or working on a “side project”? All of these examples can ofc be yin nourishing, but there is a tendency (esp. in American culture) to exert oneself under the guise of rest

Great one to keep in mind! Wondering if it works the other way around as well. Yin maskerading as yang. Maybe when you 'put effort' for something while actually 'resting' too much.

Definitely happens the other way around too Video games are a good example. Yin in the physical sense but pretend to give you some element of achievement / success (yang) In Ayurveda, this is seen as “tamasic” — slothful, lethargic, etc
