Well it’s still security, in the form of tamper evidence and transaction ordering. But from what I can tell atm it’s still the same trust assumptions we currently have with L2 sequencers. I’ll be honest I’m a bit out of the loop too. I’ve had one of my solutions engineers doing some research on it but I’m not sure what is public. You can take a look at Unichain’s flashblocks, Flashbots’ rollup boost, and Worldchains priority block space for humans blog posts. If you’re really interested in asking the folks who are close to it, I can invite you to Optimism’s R&D server
