We should reduce our reliance on private property and consumerism to address our loneliness epidemic. If we give the Amazon orders a break and rely on our community for our needs we can start to heal from our dopamine addictions. Imagine talking to your neighbor to borrow a tool. You save money, reduce waste, and get to know someone.

Seeing the change that happened in community from about...Facebook advent to now is legitimately wild. And heart breaking.

Living in a real neighborhood over a busy city apartment complex has been huge for me! I know my neighbors and we are a community now. Feels so different from my city experience but I know that some people are able to have community in a big city - just feels inherently harder.
