APPROVE WHAT YOU NEED 1. Today, users need to “approve” USDC before they can spend tokens in certain onchain miniapps. 2. This creates an extra transaction every time the user wants to send some tokens. The alternative, requesting the max approval amount, can turn off first time or security conscious users. 3. There are improvements coming (7702!), but in the meantime we are offering a more granular setting. 4. You can now choose to approve *just what you need* or, if you’re a regular Amps user, you can approve once and forget it. Remember, you can should always revoke token approvals for services you don’t use regularly. Thanks to @v for the nudge here.

Pretty certain Polygon are heavily juicing their stats with their new "we're the stablecoins chain!" narrative - suddenly spiking to a ridiculous amount of daily txs. So, I'm crawling a few hundred thousand txs to go sleuthing through. Lessee if there's dirty play afoot. Results in a few days.
