Pretty certain Polygon are heavily juicing their stats with their new "we're the stablecoins chain!" narrative - suddenly spiking to a ridiculous amount of daily txs.

So, I'm crawling a few hundred thousand txs to go sleuthing through.

@casterchain.eth has sent over 33,000 polygon transactions in the past 6 days, sending the same ERC20 token. This seems to be the cause of the spike in the graph (Ref: https://dune.com/queries/5020581)

See, Polygon themselves are showing off stablecoin txs in particular.

I noticed some very strange txs on my own polygon wallets - basically getting dusted with tiny amounts of USDC after txs.

But, well, it's one thing me saying it, it's another thing proving the thesis. But thankfully we've a ledger to test with.

Someone on Polygon is definitely FA'ing atm.

Polygon jumped from ~1% of tx's made by the top 500 fc users, to a whopping 75%+ overnight.

Given Polygon's recent pivot to "Polygon PoS is for Stablecoins" with all attention going towards tx counts, dis smells a bit fishy

Nah, honestly this is the sorta thing that'd go way slower with AI.

Lots and lots of data + visualisations is the way to go with this sorta stuff.

Layer3 has a daily campaign rewarding daily actions on polygon. That could be part of the mockery too

So many people see record txs and take it at face value. Meanwhile, it could just be a bunch of bots sending USDC back and forth across rollup bridges…
