frankly I don't do half of the best practices. most of my crypto is actually on Gemini because I don't want to deal with proper self-custody 😂 but it's probably more critical for you since you earn real money with your art. I do hope smart accounts can ease more of this burden over time

maybe delegation could solve your airdrop problem?

great article, ty. the main issue i sometimes face around NFTs is that i get airdrops for certain ones i have, but they have to be in the same wallet. i decided against the enjoy airdrop for this reason back in spring, it looked too sketchy and i didn’t want to risk my OG token. 

also, one other thing, with the apple recovery key — if you activate that, they can no longer help you get back into your account afaik. so it’s like having another seed phrase to store somewhere 🥲

it will be interesting to see how this evolves. i guess with coinbase wallet you don’t even need a seed phrase anymore. 

definitely reminds me to do a lil checkup and transfer some of the art i’ve collected lately to a safer wallet.
