Skin in the Game
Skin, in regard to “the game”, is not money. If skin is money, the game cannot be played.
A monetary stake is a distraction - a false positive. Betting on an outcome, as opposed to participating in the process, makes you a gambler, or to some, an investor - but are you truly invested?
Money talks, talk is cheap. Donate your money, shed your clothes, show some skin. You are now playing the game. An active participant, released from the role of well intentioned critic - no choice but to shape the present into a favorable future. The game was always intended to be played. 4 replies
