How many of y’all zk engineers have been continuously tortured by the notorious “hash mismatches” when constructing/verifying proofs? At least for me: all the fucking time.

Man this is one of the most annoying things about working with zk stuff. Running into this for like the 6th time with circomlib and circomlibjs poseidon hashes right now -____-

You mean the use of annoying hash functions? Yeah man it’s the biggest annoyance. Lasso/Jolt will really streamline that process. https://github.com/matter-labs/era-sync_vm/blob/v1.3.2/src/precompiles/keccak256.rs zkSync also has implementations for most hash functions using plonk-lookup.
