funny you bring up the coinbase comparison because i was just thinking about this a different way

google is keeping safety as the highest priority similar to how coinbase kept safety + compliance as the priority. 

and i don't see this as google pushing political ideology as much as it's overindexing on being 'safe'.

i think they overlap more than you think. safety is more about preventing harm imo but to also make for a welcoming space for everyone.

How is this related to safety? There’s a difference between AI ethics and AI safety.
