Noboribetsu is famous for their hot spring waters, which all come from โHell Valleyโ and make the landscape of the town absolutely stunning. Although these lakes might look appealing, you will die if you jump in. They average 80ยฐ C or 176 Freedom Units, so look but donโt touch! That color is all natural from the minerals in the water and you CAN soak in it in town, but itโs cooled to a toasty 43ยฐC (109ยฐF) for the Onsen.
