Noboribetsu is famous for their hot spring waters, which all come from βHell Valleyβ and make the landscape of the town absolutely stunning. Although these lakes might look appealing, you will die if you jump in. They average 80Β° C or 176 Freedom Units, so look but donβt touch! That color is all natural from the minerals in the water and you CAN soak in it in town, but itβs cooled to a toasty 43Β°C (109Β°F) for the Onsen.
