How do you prepare for a hard run ? For me, I need to not think about it, because the excuses come crawling in my head. Also, I do some active warmup before and theragun massage, and we are good to go😅

I do my hard runs on the track, my coach waits for me and so I have to show up. For long runs, I think in milestones, first 5km warm up. Then 5 km to the park, then 10km in the park, then 5 km easy, then 4 km more till the bridge, then 2km to home because the last km never matters 🤷♀️

It helps to have a coach and push you. Hmm, good advice for the long runs. Last time it helped to look at it as an adventure, stop computing the distance left all the time, and just enjoy being outside and exploring the city. It's difficult though, when you get past 20k, to run in crowded areas and avoid people
