i had an experience at a music festival 7 years ago that mirrors yours exactly to a T... including the going back the next year and having acquaintances regenerate drama of my sexual assault the year prior

I cut ties with most of those acquaintances and avoid the music scene now. Truly cannot mentally continue on attending, rolling the dice regarding my safety around individuals who do not live and breathe every aspect of consent culture

Stay strong, your experience is valid, and you are in no way to carry the blame, shame or burden. That is 100% for abusers to carry.
