as some people know i was sexually assaulted at vibecamp in 2022. it's taken me almost a year to write this, and i hope it provides some value for women who go through similar things and that events that do care about attendee safety listen to what i have to say. https://paragraph.xyz/@ivy/i-was-sexually-assaulted-at-vibecamp

just want you to know, my inbox is always open ❤️ you are not alone i had an experience at a music festival 7 years ago that mirrors yours exactly to a T... including the going back the next year and having acquaintances regenerate drama of my sexual assault the year prior I cut ties with most of those acquaintances and avoid the music scene now. Truly cannot mentally continue on attending, rolling the dice regarding my safety around individuals who do not live and breathe every aspect of consent culture Stay strong, your experience is valid, and you are in no way to carry the blame, shame or burden. That is 100% for abusers to carry.

Im so sorry you had to experience this. You might roll your eyes at me for saying this, or be annoyed at me, but I think you are incredibly brave and strong and some day this will be a distant memory and you will be stronger for it. I’m proud of you for writing and being so public and vulnerable about this. 🫂

Thank you for sharing this and for being so articulate. I’m so sorry this happened to you. You’re not alone (I’m a SA survivor too). Sending you love and strength. I hope we start seeing shit change.
