I really don't understand why everyone is so upset and sentiment in the crypto market is so low right now. All you had to do was go all in on SOL in 2023 for an average price of $20 (up 12x) then rotate into BONK in mid Oct and rotate out in mid Dec (up 190x) for WIF. And then rotate out of WIF in Apr (up 470x) into stables. Then you could've bridged to Hyperliquid and farmed perps volume for months before the airdrop. In Oct, you could've bought into the ai16z presale at $80k mc and VIRTUAL at $0.05. In Nov, you would've been airdropped millions of HYPE and rotated all your stables into HYPE and sold at $30 (up 15x) a week later. In Jan, you could've sold your VIRTUAL at $5 (up 100x) and your ai16z at $2.4 (up 21k x) then rotated your entire net worth into TRUMP coin at $1 and sold at $75 (up 75x) a day later. If you did all the above and compounded your wealth, you are now up 120,055,500,000x Instead, you decided to bet on Ethereum (up 7% which is 1.07x) during that same time.

hot take, maybe should have anonposted.. but: seems that a lot of normie "dyor" boils down to: - reading a complicated whitepaper/roadmap - seeing that it's conceptually complex, failing to understand it fully - using that as signal to invest: "sounds impressive, must ape" projects are hacking this signal by: - creating more conceptually complex whitepapers - comically detailed/rigid roadmaps - coining heavy terminology to mean ultimately simple things - shallow integrations with buzzword tech - e.g. "AI agent" it's ironic because the engineered complexity kills any chance for that "utility" to be adopted or actually used. and yet it's "bullish"
