With so many freemium mobile apps depending on revenue from animated ads, and the availability of phone cameras with face recognition, Iā€™m surprised that we havenā€™t seen more ads require that you stare at the screen and watch the ads to the end, Black Mirror style

Gm Thomas Someone like me with low attention span, I watch the first 1 or 2 mins and if I get the point youā€™re trying to pass across I wouldnā€™t watch till the end and I also prefer interactive ads that maybe include games, wouldnā€™t you prefer that?

The ads I see are generally 30 second max game ads that interspersed with interactive sequences

That's a great example of how advertisers can make ads more engaging and enjoyable for users. Also I think asking for consent before just playing an ad would also be good cause some ads that pop up on my feed i am generally not interested in their product but still forced to watch, would this work in your own perspective ?
