Happy to welcome slow-culture folks, though I'm on the fence about the strategy of trying to grow a following. Actually, after reading Tom Beck's latest essay, I'm thinking a lot more about what might be possible by deliberately *limiting* the following, or at least refraining from any sort of outreach...

The basic rationale here is to give Slowcore HQ time to explore this newly opened social and economic design space... slowly and mindfully. We have an opportunity to do that without the pressures that a growing audience brings.

Thank you for the kind words. I'm grateful for the company also. Not sure "purist" is what I'd call myself; I just think FC channels + crypto rails is an unprecedented opportunity, and I'd like to see what's possible if we question the accepted practices and experiment with "slowcore all the way down."

Haha, I can appreciate the "purist" pause. I used it b/c I feel you are by comparison to me, with conspicuously reflective approaches like this. My approach being project-based, not concept stewardship, leans experimental & I'm aware (concerned?) may come across as flighty at times. The undercurrent? Play is slow.

I don't think your approach comes across as flighty, but I appreciate your framing as it helps give me a better sense of perspective. "Concept stewardship" is a nice way to frame what I do. There's room for many approaches, of course. I see your work and mine as complementary. May 1000 slowcore patterns bloom.

Thanks. I'm perhaps thinking of how it might go... But then at the slow speed I work, maybe not :) 100% on room for different approaches. Diversity tends to work out well.
