The nook codebase is now open source. Note that you won't be able to run nook (due to infra requirements), but you can still use it as a reference for your own apps if you wish. https://github.com/nook-app/nook

how are they these days with installing external dependencies? last time i used expo was like 6 years ago and that was the biggest limitation back then
