It bothers me seeing people asking for a polymarket on base. Just go use polymarket, the whole point of building consumer-friendly apps is the chain literally should not matter. Biases are showing.

I think it’s fine for people to say “I don’t wanna have to buy MATIC to use Polymarket”

The fact that I think I might in the first place, whether or not I need MATIC, specifically for Polymarket, still make the same case Also if/when I wanna send back USDC to Coinbase, I’ll need MATIC

Fair and should be solved as AA matures. The real problem is transacting. s/MATIC/ETH and I'd wager for non crypto natives its the same sentiment. Moving to Base is just a bandaid solution for crypto natives who don't want to use MATIC.

Bandaids (move to Base) are fine while we mix up the medicine (AA / whatever else) 😄

I'd argue that if you're solving for crypto natives in the short term, don't waste time and let them bridge. We all know how to move funds across chains.

The core question is, what is the polymarket team’s time best spent on? But related to your initial post - being bothered that people would prefer it on Base? I think it’s perfectly fair for people to ask for that
