I think the biggest reason people subscribe to hypersubs is just like proximity/alignment/support of the creator Like you see your friend launch a hypersub, yeah of course you're gonna put a few months down on it don't think ppl really have cared much about getting "value" back

in my experience its been both! people re-subscribe because they have fomo of not getting the latest greatest candle before everyone else :p

It’s been a big unlock for me, I had a dozen or so subs before but mostly ppl I knew. On fc/hypersub I’ve gotten way more new ppl I’ve never known before joining. It’s great! I try and provide at least 3x rewards/fee for me. We all eating

This has been partially my experience but not entirely. Definitely a subset of people who subscribe because they want some sort of special treatment/etc. But a lot of people stay for value too. Especially artists who I spend a great deal of time trying to help promote.

Three examples of my subs with three different reasons: 1. Club @ted for the vibes and high quality group chat 2. @pfista /buoy for the search service 3. @phil Silicon Valley Canon book club I've thrown a few months at NFT subs for the creator support like you mentioned, but others are out there
