Cold means you don’t transact from it If you sign a malicious txn from hardware you’re just as cooked

cold is a key that has never been on a device that has ever been connected to the internet and never will be. i.e. key generated on an airgaped. only used for signing on airgraps. those airgraphs will always remain airgaps. good rule of thumb is: if a human is not required to physically take out a signed tx out of the device that signed it and put it in another device to broadcast then it's def not cold.
