I think he thought it was going to be an infinite free mint, which you could do before the protocol update. If that’s the case then it would theoretically just be a 20c collectible to collect for fun

But he didn’t know the update happened, so he got a secondary market on his work that he didn’t expect

FWIW I think his reaction is silly, but it is worth noting that most of us in this corner of crypto are far more used to these mechanics and it’s still a weird adjustment for most people, even in crypto, to create some content and have a market form around it that you didn’t expect
