I'm a bit bearish on tokengated communities but i think private communities are an important unlock. what @rafa brings up about tokengated writes is also cool. i know for a while people enjoyed following the punks discord which was public to read but gated to write

I think hard gates just kinda suck to invite people to participate,,, but progressive participation (read, get excited, reply, then get token to post) works much better
