I fuck with stablecoins, they’re basically dollars but onchainified, just a bit boring to the imagination

for people from other countries i get it completely and would go so far as to say it is an existential threat to all but the top few fiat currencies

for americans with easy access to USD I don't see good reason to hold USDC other than temporarily for trading purposes or the like

I think if you just prefer self custody in general to banks, or for defi purposes

I’ve been trying to offramp more usdc to fiat though as it helps me resist the temptation to put it back in the market lol
