I had this idea this morning of creating rotating “curricula” for myself Like for a period of time, say a quarter, you pre-identify a list of books lectures etc all focused around a specific subject and structure all your active media consumption around that

I’ve been doing this in a slightly less structured way for the last year and it’s given a massive boost in many intellectual areas. My main cycles have been business, attention/focus, mindfulness. I tend to get obsessed with a topic, pick out 2-3 books related to it, and then do a deep dive with researching articles and papers as new concepts arise

might actually try this, I always just study random topics I find interesting in the moment but without any structure

yes! it really disciplines you for a specific topic you want to learn i'm doing that to dive deeper into cosmology. i have weekly topics to research, articles to read, and a list of books to finish (period of 12 weeks)

Another thing to consider is are you disciplined? You can easily carried away 😭😭
