My most contrarian Farcaster opinion is being bullish onchain gaias

I will say, the issue with this trade is capital efficiency - even if you are high conviction that eg 2e floor is inevitable, you don’t know the timeline for the catalysts in the second cast, and your funds probably could be put to work in better places in the meantime

So if you are holding you’re mostly just hoping the ETH-basis floor holds and in that case it’s kinda similar to just holding raw ETH.

Also if ETH keeps pumping it may make it harder for the ETH basis floor to hold

i see them as different things/noncompetitive. super pets is a pretty farcaster-specific thing, afaik they are not nfts either, mainly they serve the role of being bot friends on farcaster. gaias is a pfp nft collection which is inherently different in structure, and the ai part is more applied to the gaming work they're doing rather than being social bots like super pets. as for paying 6k, as always it is bc you think you will be able to sell it at a higher price later haha

better places in the meantime is my sentiment as well. other than that i agree with you. though would be interested to hear your take on the impact of @woj.eth super pets like you guys talked about on doingnumbers. if woj gives everyone an ai pet, what's the point of paying $6k for a gaias?

In terms of a trade, I think the above + it fits a good current narrative being at the ai x gaming intersection (agents that learn over time via playing games) + the game is kind of a farming mechanism that I think the speculator class will love and could go viral
