I do think ETH will be fine, I just struggle with the case for owning it vs BTC/SOL, and haven’t heard a good case for why it’s bullish *against* those assets. 

We saw like a week post-election where it outperformed, and then ETHBTC got sent back down to new lows. Would be keen to hear a material case for ETHBTC or ETHSOL being green over the next 1y

BTC at ATHs
SOL <10% off ATHs
ETH at the same price it’s been all year, still 60+% off ATHs

I still hold ETH but it’s for spiritual reasons not financial ones

Fundamentals give two f’s about what crypto twitter thinks. The weighing machine takes time but once it does, it recalibrates quickly.

Why is the market wrong today?

I think that is the question I have been struggling with, because I also believe in markets as arbiters of truth and the market is certainly saying one thing that the ethereum community seems to reject (but i haven't seen any clear articulation why other than discounting it as CT fud)

The best argument I can come up with is that Solana is winning on memecoin hypergambling which is the only consumer crypto use case with PMF

Ethereum has a better developer culture and stronger app ecosystem and in the long run will be the home base for "actual" applications (but seems like that won't dominate this "cycle")

But even then idk enough about why that value accrues to ETH tokenomics if fees are going to zero long-term + less general need to hold/use ETH
