what's the sentiment on blogs, bullish/bearish over next decade?

This is my bear case as well but don’t know how it nets out

Bearish. Think they’ll be overtaken by oral culture, podcasts/youtube convos, live video

bearish on blogging in the traditional sense - i don’t think we'll see growth in personal websites with frequent long form writing

bullish on twitter/farcaster as a micro blog + podcasts (and their transcripts) as long form info sharing - both lower the barrier to sharing ideas, which will lead to more of it

Bullish but think it’ll be more like a (tumblr x Substack x YouTube x Twitter) type thing

bottom is already in on blogs

the kids will reject short form video and return to reading someday soon
