Any UK people remember this? As a very young child I was utterly transfixed by this short intro, and even today the music and visuals evoke early memories of my anticipation for the mysteries of the world. The geometries of the shapes, and the video effects, also clearly had an impact.

Also, have you ever seen the BBC comedy series, "Look Around You" ?
Because I am wondering if this is the title they are satirizing lol

Must've been a lot to look at in the world around that time :)

There was also a long-running nature documentary series in Australia when I was a kid (prob around same time as OP) called ‘the world around us’ 🤣

lol well, either way, they don't quite pick on specific programs, just the entire concept of educational programming in general.

But as for the theme you posted here, it's really pretty, and I can see how that would've been really mesmerizing and captivating to see! Very cool. And seems like it would've been advanced graphics for that time?

Never seen it - TV is a thing that is completely alien to me these days. Having looked it up though, for sure it could be one of the shows that was picked on :)
