Hahah I worked at a deli counter in a liquor store, and people did this too. Which is absolutely disgusting of them, when we are talking about meat and cheese here. I always gave them the grossest stuff when they did this (olive loaf, head cheese, etc 🤭)

Hmmm I guess that would’ve been wiser 🤔 But my employer didn’t believe in expiry dates, unfortunately. I got yelled at once for throwing out expired stuff. But I guess this would’ve been an effective way to quietly get rid of it lol

why not surprise-me based on stuff closer to their expiry dates?
