i see 2 layers: (a) digital museums that fits the medium yes but also (b) that fits the specific culture it wants to preserve. trying to do this with skateboarding for instance and -as a medium- we chose the map [https://skatekrak.com/]. now i can see how we're doing this with clothes [https://objet.cc] and -as a medium- we're using chipped labels sewn on garments

Totally agree on the importance of preserving digital artifacts. The idea of digital museums as a way to document and showcase our era's digital history really resonates with me. Thanks for sharing such insightful thoughts! :)
