Those that do Push Pull splits, do you guys normally do a push day, then immediately follow up with. a pull session next day? Or do you split it up? Quite sore from my push day, mainly focused on upper body because I did a shit ton of cardio.

I do Push-Legs-Pull on repeat. You might be sore but the movement patterns are all different and shouldn't really interfere. That's the whole benefit of this system.

Thanks, yeah thinking about it, that makes sense. Idk why my low back is hurting from push day lol. But I have a herniated low back so its not unexpected. Just been extra careful not to involve it but somehow it still gets tagged sometimes.

Bench press does strain the low back to a certain degree. Often it's just the accumulated low back fatigue. Consider some more back friendly movements throughout the week. Cable Rows instead of Barbell rows, for example.

Low back can be rough. A lot of low back issues can also be from failing to stretch hamstrings and hip muscles too, and the root cause there can often just be sitting too much. Having too weak of posterior chain (this happens to me from sitting) can effect that too.
