Items/cars/skins/rewards as NFTs 😁 I like the idea of different car attributes playing a role. Similar to NES Blades of Steel (fat but slow, fast but weak, etc...). Meta will always be meta, but it might make car choices a bit more diverse, and maybe open up different team strats based on car choices

What about drivers + cars (a la Mario Kart), both having their own attributes?

I'm thinking more like Team Fortress (fast: scout, slow: heavy, etc), maybe different boost tanks depending. But yea same idea I think. Maybe having a progression tree where you build out your driver with different attributes (rerolls possible of course), maybe a 2-3 slots of 'drivers'.

Agree here that the largest thing missing currently is a feeling of passive progression Having unlockable itemization + trees for your cars/cars + driver would fit this nicely
