I admit I'm a bit divorced from Chicago politics, but I do wonder how much power he can actually wield in an Alderman-dominated city like Chicago.  It doesn't seem like a leftist problem, he just seems like a dud.

I also didn't care for Emmanuel or Lightfoot. It seems Chicago is just doomed to have mediocre mayors.
