Anyone can recommend on how to >start< getting fit? Ever since Covid I gained a lot of weight. Went from a total stick to being 98kg. I'm not really interested in growing a lot of muscles or turning into a gym bro, just really want to lose some weight and gain more endurance. Is doing this bike/cycle thing enough?

Define "a lot" of muscle. You don't accidentally grow "a lot" of muscle. Seems like you just want to eat less and get some cardio in. It's that simple.

Idk, if it's that simple I'd be surprised. Friend of mine who's trying to lose weight too told me it's literally not that easy, and I have to do all kinds of different things. Kinda don't wanna take his word in this regard tho, thus the cast.

It's literally that simple. I didn't say easy. But simple yes. Start tracking everything you eat and your daily or weekly weight. Adjust as needed (less food or more activity). I've dropped from 205lb at my "peak" to 170lbs. I didn't do anything special other than track food.
