To truly capture nature's beauty, it's essential to understand the ecosystems I photograph. I spend time studying the behavior of wildlife and the characteristics of different landscapes. This knowledge allows me to anticipate moments that make for stunning images, whether it’s a bird taking flight, a deer grazing at dawn, or a stunning sunset illuminating the sky. By respecting the habitats and habits of the creatures I photograph, I can create a deeper, more authentic connection with my subjects.
