Have often thought about the quirky road history has taken - to have cold, rainy cities like London become such thriving centers of global productivity for the better part of hundreds of years from (1600s to the 1900s) - far before before humans had the luxury of becoming desk-bound workers tucked away indoors.

ever wonder how rainy old london became a global powerhouse? it's crazy to think about how it thrived from the 1600s to the 1900s, way before we had the luxury of working indoors all day.
