AGI seems to me (ignoring what it can potentially do) it seems like it helps a certain subset of nerds tickle a lack of spirituality, to have religion within this Nietzschean post-modern landscape w/o calling it religion. I used to think about how that was silly. Recently I think that is naive of me, and Iwas wrong

i suspect meme-y assets (and the cult communtites that form around them) tickle a similar itch for a different subset of nerds :)
