We went to the /allotment today, and the pumpkin continues to grow! 😻 

Harvested some more raspberries, tomatoes, started pruning the massively overgrown fig tree, and more.

Pumpkin update! Went to the /allotment today, our "main" pumpkin is coming along nicely! Gave it a small rotation to keep it rounding off evenly.

How are your pumpkins doing?

Otherwise, lots of time spent pruning the fig, apple and cherry trees. The fig has grown massive, and needs far more pruning sessions this fall and winter, but it's getting there!

Looks like a nice pumpkin!! I don't have enough space for pumpkins. I have a couple of massive cherries that need to be cut back. Cherries were tiny this year.

I have a massive cherry tree and got a very small harvest this year due to late frost. 

There are cherry flies in my area so I bag some branches, this year I didn't bother as there was less than a handful per branch.

Man oh man, pumpkins can grow on an epic scale, so quickly. You really do need space for them.

Have you ever noticed your cherries are kinda biennial? Like one year heavy crop, next year lighter? We seem to get that here at times.

Our cherry is also pretty out of control. Not as bad as the fig tho, that one done a proper runner. But I'll need to give all our fruit trees a pretty heavy pruning this year.
