Recently watched The Road, adapted from Cormac McCarthy’s novel. Think I’m heading down a Cormac McCarthy rabbit hole now. For any fans, should I read The Road or Blood Meridian first?

The Road. One of my favorite novels of all time. It's hard to read at first, but stick with it. You'll get used to the style.

Blood meridian is one of the most brutal and exquisite books written. Whenever anyone says "web3 is the wild west." I tell them to read this. Classic.

Both are good, but I found Blood Meridian quite challenging. The violence can be too much for some readers, including me. After several false starts, I moved to The Road, which while dark is not as violent. Only after a few years did I make it back to Blood Meridian, which is absolutely worth completing.
