When things do not go as per your plans When your expectations are not met When you are not where you wanted to be Tell yourself: Everything happens for a reason. You are exactly where you are supposed to be. What's not yours won't ever come to you and what's yours won't ever go away. Everything has a way of working out. In the grand scheme of things, you have no control over anything. This is a big world and forces beyond your comprehension are working towards keeping things in place, making life go as it's meant to be.

Let history record that I had this feeling in between my chest like it's heavy, burning and scratched when my friend went to a party I wasn't invited to and as a response to this feeling i became dramatic and mean and while I'm not proud of it I don't know why I felt or behaved the way I did. Also I'm emotionally tired af

Context switching is exhausting. I was in deep data work today. And I was asked to plan a farewell party.I get that valuing people matters. But can we stop expecting the same mind to analyze insights and ideate icebreakers? Switching tabs—mentally and literally—is hard. Can we be considerate of people's mental modes.

This answer can vary from culture to culture as the context varies. In India dating a guy 22 years elder than you is almost criminal but Hailey from Modern Family at 17 was dating this guy in the show and the parents/society gave her the space to make decisions for herself ofcourse after initial hiccups (nothing as compared to what indians would do)

It's conflicting intentional relations or natural connections? Friendships i believe should be seamless and should be natural. You shouldn't even think or feel you're in the process of becoming friends and bam one day you share a couple of drinks and talk about how you out of all people became friends

I think the atmosphere in cafes are quite reserved here. I've tried joining a women's walking group on Sundays, but it hasn't felt like a good fit. The conversations I have there don't seem to blossom into meaningful friendships, and I don't want to push for something that doesn't come naturally.

I want to break ice with my flatmates. Sometimes it feels that I am in a workspace and I cannot talk to people. My flatmate makes it so difficult for me to even access our common balcony

Finding friends in a different city while doing a remote job is so hard. It feels so sad to be out of my home for 3 years and not having anyone whom I can lean on or even access for 2 seconds to share what I think I should cook today

I like learning by doing. I learnt using Excel through a job I was under qualified for. Now when I finally opened an advanced Excel course on LinkedIn Learning I was astonished to see how much depth I've built and doing a course and claiming to be an excel expert is so delulu. Learning by doing is the real deal
