1/ Hey farmers and space cadets, First and foremost, thank you for the incredible support you’ve shown us on the CropXYZ / @skyoneer journey. It’s saddening for me to say that @marissaposner and I made the tough decision to discontinue active development on the game and @goldchain .

2/ For transparency: just maintaining the chain and supporting infrastructure alone has cost over $150k annually (not including other operational expenses). We are a team of two and between a small venture round in late 2022 and the revenue from in-game sales earlier this year we have been pretty lean.

Disappointed, but not surprised. Wish I could say the money spent produced a worthwhile experience; it was, ultimately, a fruitless grind and total waste. I am assuming whatever funds you raised through your initial NFT sales have been distributed and your early supporters walk away with... nothing but memories, yeah? If so, you can be confident we won't be back for your next venture. Thanks for the rug, merry christmas lol
