Fun fact: Stripe owns (or at least, owned) a non-trivial amount of XLM.

I feel like I disagree with this approach to government efficiency: https://x.com/DOGE/status/1860739165144367441 The examples listed are a tiny fraction of all spending. If a government _optimizes_ for "don't make oopses that look bad on twitter", then it will end up missing a lot of valuable opportunities, and at the same time lots of actually-wasteful large-scale things will remain just because they look respectable. You _want_ a VC-like approach on small-scale public funding, that is okay with large quantities of oopses, because its goal is to make sure it captures the 1000x opportunities. Concentrate prudence energy on the large-scale stuff.

The contract here is a sublinear staking contract: if you are in the whitelist (specified as an ERC1155 collection), then you can stake N coins, and get a return of N ** 0.75 coins per slot, for as long as the contract has coins to pay for it. There is a fundedUntil mechanism that ensures that if the contract runs out of money, every staker gets rewarded for every slot up to the fundedUntil timestamp, and the mechanism doesn't turn into a fractional reserve. https://github.com/ethereum/research/blob/master/sublinear_staking/code.vy Bounty of total 2 ETH for identifying any bugs / vulnerabilities in the contract and proposing specific fixes, if multiple issues are found the bounty will be split based on severity. Amount: 2 ETH @bountybot

1/ Coral Finance is a cutting-edge decentralized trading platform that specializes in Premium Trading, designed to enhance liquidity and trading opportunities for digital assets. It's the first derivatives platform built on Bitcoin's layer two solution, BEVM. 🚀 2/ What is Premium Trading? 🤔 This innovative mechanism aggregates liquidity for efficient market making, allowing users to trade crypto assets at higher prices. It also introduces a derivative token, cToken, which enables leveraged yields. 📈 3/ Sustainable Liquidity 🌱 Coral Finance aims to create a non-inflationary liquidity solution. By rewarding liquidity providers without causing inflation, it extends the lifecycle of cryptocurrencies and supports healthy project development. 💰 4/ Premium Pools 💧 The backbone of Coral's trading model, these pools allow users to earn high-yield returns by providing liquidity. This generates returns for liquidity providers and stabilizes coin prices during token launches. 🔒

Cross-posting a thought on staking from the other app: ------ Perhaps we should recognize that 32 ETH is much more of a barrier for stakers than bandwidth reqs, and temporarily do a trade where we up the bandwidth reqs a bit and in exchange drop the staking deposit minimum to eg. 16 or 24 ETH. It's net-good for both staking accessibility and scale. Then once we figure out peerdas, bandwidth reqs go back down, and once we figure out orbit SSF, the deposit minimum can drop to 1 ETH.

Meridian: the native liquidity layer of @movementlabsxyz , built to securely scale and enable high-velocity capital with Move. 1. Setting Up Your Wallet First, you'll need to create a wallet to interact with the Meridian testnet. This wallet will store your funds and allow you to perform transactions. Make sure to securely store your private and public keys, as they are essential for accessing your wallet. 2. Getting Testnet Tokens To start testing, you'll need some testnet tokens. You can request these tokens from the Meridian faucet, which will provide you with the necessary funds to interact with the testnet. 3. Swapping Tokens Meridian allows you to swap one type of token for another. This feature is useful for testing the liquidity and functionality of the protocol. By performing swaps, you can see how efficiently the protocol handles transactions.
