Is your token indexer oss/public? would love to read the code!

I'm mostly (1), I enjoy reading about it/trying to understand it better, but I haven't had the impetus to build anything there (built plenty on the EVM in early days.). I think I could be convinced, but doesn't feel like the right audience for the kinds of things I care about. 

Btw have you gone through the old casts in /solana-security? A few of us shared surprising learnings (from EVM perspective), you'd enjoy!

I actually like the storage model where everything is an account. Makes it pretty easy to pick up. Haven't written any programs yet though. 

The RPCs don't feel as robust. Using Helius, but calls are slower than on an EVM and have random failures from time to time so have to account for that.

Indexing is a huge pain because of the insane amount of transactions (good problem for the network). Took me about a week to build a token indexer that can even stay at head. Storage, and in turn costs, grow pretty quickly though.

Need to index myself because no good APIs available for consumer-oriented general-purpose token data. 

Before I even started the exploration, had so many EVM people telling me how much it sucks. And overall, it's honestly not bad at all. Most of the people talking negatively about Solana dev either (1) have never actually built anything there or (2) weren't around for EVM dev when it was the same age as Solana.
