got a referral for therapy but getting an appointment and being assigned to a therapist will take 4-6 months.

technically mental health isn't even part of "healthcare" in Canada (yet), so it's kind of a miracle there's any support at all 🫠

i've had adequate experiences with remote therapists via betterhelp etc (not amazing but better than nothing imo and fairly affordable), might be worthwhile as a holdover.
