My wooden wicks come as a default 5' but I need them to be 3.1'. Up until now I've been manually cutting them with garden shears, and it makes my hand sore. So I was thinking a saw might be better, but I have concerns that the edges would be too jagged. What do you think?

ideally make a little jig where you can stack them and have a pre-cut guide that you just saw through, can probably do dozens at a time.

hacksaw could also do in a pinch, if you wanna prototype cheaply.
