Confession: the rewards leaderboard has been deterring me from wanting to make new content. I feel like Iβm someone who puts a good amount of effort into my content, and definitely a lot with my scripted videos. I see a lot of people who make amazing, thoughtful content and never end up in the top 5.

@shazow.eth left a cool comment here!! I love the idea of voting. Then it feels more participatory. In terms of actual algo, and Iβm not saying this because I sometimes make video content (Iβve been slacking lately), but I see people make really fun video content which takes longer to make (e.g. @afrochicks @lambchop) and they donβt make top 5. It would be cool if there was a way to make the algorithm take into account the quality and value of the content people create. Idk how though.
