Working on a crypto slideshow for the tax group of a large bank. 

They’re not crypto native, so first few slides are “intro to blockchain.”

Most lawyers start from the bottom of the tech stack and explain consensus while the audience’s eyes glaze over. 

I might start with Farcaster instead.

I haven't talked to banks/accountants, but my typical narrative for beginners is "tech that can work without intermediaries that we are forced to trust". 

Some other examples: ENS (domains without being forced to trust ICANN), MakerDAO CDPs (loans without being forced to trust lender/borrower), etc.

A doodler and computerer. I like permissive/permissionless open source, smart contracts, p2p systems, room-scale VR, and NixOS.
