What’s that Pokémon? Molting Spotted Lantern Fly TLDR: NYC Parks department says New Yorkers didn’t do a good enough job of killing Spotted Lantern Flies, so they're here to stay. But we should still squash on sight to slow their growth. “In the past, NYC Parks instructed New Yorkers to squish the insect. However, we now know that SLF has become established in North America and is here to stay.
