going through old study materials before tossing them and wishing i could give past me a big hug - for surviving that brutally packed schedule (15 min shower slots??) and for turning hot coffee sleeves into binder tabs because i couldn’t afford anything else. resourceful and resilient I suppose!

being allergic to everything is like living on expert mode with no cheat codes. gloves on, gloves off, switch gloves for a different task, repeat. it’s giving olympic-level hand choreography and me and my peripheral neuropathy is exhausted.

i keep thinking about the first time i went snorkeling. we did training in a pool before heading out on the boat, and when we finally got in the water… the coral and fish were unlike anything i’d ever seen. even shallow snorkeling with a mask doesn’t compare—it’s just not as vivid. in a different timeline, with full creative control, one of my skating programs would’ve absolutely been ocean-themed, complete with orchestral music and bedazzled corals on my suit.
